I just noticed this, but... unless I missed it somewhere and it's in the wrong section....
WHY DON'T WE HAVE A POETRY SUBFORUM AREA IN THE ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT SECTION?!?!?!?

By that, i mean, of course, a subforum completely and wholly devoted to poetry.

We haven't really had a need for a poetry forum yet. Poetry can go into the literature forum (http://www.allbeliefs.com/forumdisplay.php?f=77)... there's only one and a half pages of threads in there. A poetry subforum would be pretty empty at this point, and we don't want to have a lot of empty subforums laying around.

Do I need to push it to 5 pages before you seriously consider something so necessary? :P
*thinks evil thoughts*

Subforums are created only for organization. Like Jamaesi said, we don't want to have a lot of empty forums that don't get used.

If you want to post poetry then go ahead, but don't just spam poetry in order up the poetry thread count. Spamming's against our rules.

By all means, please contribute to the literature forum, and if we see a need (not spam) for a poetry sub, we will be happy to add one. As we grow, we have added some along the way.

Grr...
*mask starts smoking, red visor parts glowing slightly brighter with heat*
LOL. That is, if you could prove it was spam. :P Who's to say I COULDN'T HAVE A SUDDEN BURST OF INSPIRATION?!?!?
But still, I was just joking about the 5 pages thing. Didn't you see teh mildly evil laughter? :P

Plus it makes forums look dead if there are empty subforums, which persuades fewer people to join.

I think you're beating a dead horse now, aqua. Sorry.

Seriously, the reason that we don't want to add any subforums is because we don't want any empty ones. Aqualung and Jamaesi are right. So was Liz.

You can always put me on your ignore list if you find what I say aggravating. But I wasn't beating a dead horse (sorry?) - I provided information that nobody in this thread provided, not to you, but to everybody who read it and wondered why
we don't want to have a lot of empty subforums laying around.
or dind't quite understand what Mike understood when he said
^^ What Maesi said
I provided another reason in addition to Jonny's reason
Subforums are created only for organization
Of course, I'm not up on cliches, so maybe there's a new meaning to "beating a dead horse', but I always thought providing new information wasn't part of beating a dead horse. :(

....... sigh......
If it was in regards to me alone, it was beating a dead horse as I saw this issue as already having been dealt with. i posted, was informed, moved on. Excessive explanations weren't necessary at that time.
