i know this sounds like spam but hear me out, my laptop was messed up today when i turned it on, i asked around and after asking my mom, she directed me to her programmer/hacker friend Lex. he then directed me to Smitfraudfix. I ran it, followed his directions (its real easy, after running it a command prompt type thingie pops up, press "2" then enter. after awhile it'l ask you if you want to clean your disk or whatever, type "y" and hit enter) after less then a minute,it killed every single possible spyware, virus, adware, trojan, etc. on my laptop,I have to say this is amazing and i will not keep this a secret.even though i should  so, if you get a nasty little problem on your computer, run it, and tell me whatcha think. of course, the best thing is to try and NOT get all of those little nasties on your computer. this is NOT a defense system, this is a kill system. its only purpose is to kill all infectious files AFTER your computer has been infected, so please try not to get it infected. :duh:

Thanks Zayl. I recently had a problem with my hard drive and the hubby installed some kind of firewall and it's preventing me from opening up the link. I'll tell him about Smitfraudfix though. He's the one who rescues my computer everytime something crappy happens to it.

I downloaded it from your link and immediately my antivirus program grabbed a trojan horse program out of it. NOT good, Zayl, better check your system.

you sure? after running it I checked my laptop with MCafee and AVG, clean as a whistle except for a few things here and there, which I deleted as soon as I found them. one of them was a trojan, idk if it was the one from Smit, fact is everything is now removed and does not show on any of my systems. i've read alot of reviews, all of them positive, and my programmer buddy says its fine... besides, whats worse? having a hijacker virus which cannot even be removed by a full system restore, or a trojan which I removed in 5 minutes? all of the reviews I read mentioned nothing of a hidden trojan, and said it was completly legit.

this was found in the smit

btw, DO NOT have McAffee and AVG together, they will neither one work properly if both are on. Uninstall the McAffee if you ask me...we do that routinely at the tech shop.....

will do, what about the windows firewall? I usually have that on low, if i'm feeling exposed i bump it up to medium, but it REALLY restricts... well... everything.
